Storing client files, brand assets, and presentations

Upload branding kits, design files, and decks, choose which ones the client can see, and keep your own agency files separate.

1

Where files live

There are two ways in. Library -> Files & Assets is the whole account in one list: every file, filterable by client, plus your own agency files. The Files & Assets tab inside a client shows just that client's files. It is the same library either way, so a file uploaded in one place shows up in the other.

2

Uploading files

Pick a category, then click 'Upload files' and select one or more files. In the Library you also choose who the file belongs to before uploading: a client, or 'My agency' for files that are yours rather than any client's. Categories are Branding / IP, Presentations, Design Assets, and General; once a category is in use it appears as a filter above the file list so you can narrow a long library down.

3

What you can upload, and how big

Images (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, SVG), PDFs, Word documents (.doc, .docx), Excel spreadsheets (.xls, .xlsx), PowerPoint decks (.ppt, .pptx), plain text, CSV, and zip archives. Each file can be up to 50 MB, and you can upload 20 files at once. Design source files such as PSD, AI, or Sketch are not uploaded directly: zip them first, which is how most agencies hand off a source bundle anyway. Anything else is refused with a message naming the type, and nothing is stored.

4

Deciding what the client sees

Every file is hidden from the client until you say otherwise, so you can keep the working files and the finished brand kit in the same place. Each file shows 'Agency only' or 'Client visible', and the button beside it flips between the two. Tick 'Share these uploads with the client straight away' before uploading if you know the files are for the client. Files kept under My agency belong to no client and can never be shared until you attach them to one, which is where your own sales decks and internal brand kit belong.

5

Storage and your plan

Storage is included with your plan: 400 MB on Free, 5 GB on Starter, 20 GB on Growth, and 50 GB on Scale. One allowance covers client files, agency files, and the attachments on change requests and onboarding forms. Your Usage page shows what is used at any time, and Files & Assets warns you once you drop below a fifth of your allowance. When storage is full, uploads stop until you delete something or move up a plan. Deleting a file frees its space immediately.

6

What the client sees

Clients open Files & Assets from their own portal and see only the files you shared, grouped by the same categories, with a download on each one. They cannot upload, rename, or delete anything, and they never see your storage usage or files belonging to another client. To hide the section from the portal entirely, untick Files & Assets under Settings -> Client Portal -> Portal Menu, or override it for one client from that client's Settings tab.
