What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on a device to help localhost remember information, keep client portal sessions working, understand usage, or support payment checkout operations.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are needed for dashboard login, secure checkout sessions, and client portal operations on localhost. They cannot be deactivated because the service requires them to function.
Analytics with your consent
localhost runs first-party analytics powered by the Destiny Manage platform. If you accept analytics cookies, a random visitor identifier is saved to your browser's local storage (dqa_vid) and a session identifier to session storage (dqa_sid). These let us recognise returning visitors across days and measure sessions accurately, alongside which pages were viewed, how long was spent on each page, the referring page, and the country derived from your IP address at the time of the request. Your IP address itself is not stored, and no data is shared with third-party analytics services. You can withdraw consent at any time from the cookie banner.
Cookieless analytics
If you do not accept analytics cookies, localhost still records your visit, but nothing is stored on your device. Instead, a temporary visitor identifier is generated on our servers from a secret that rotates every 24 hours, combined with your IP address and browser type. This identifier cannot be reversed to identify you and cannot be linked to your visits on other days, because the secret is regenerated daily and is never stored. Your IP address itself is never stored. On this basis we measure page views, sessions within a single day, referring pages, and country, relying on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. No data is shared with third-party analytics services. To opt out of all analytics, including the cookieless kind, set the key dqa_opt_out to 1 in your browser's local storage, or use your browser settings to block storage for this site.
Managing choices
Visitors should be able to accept, reject, or change optional cookie choices. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies.
Changes to this policy
If new cookies or tracking technologies are added to localhost, this policy will be updated before they are used. Check this page periodically for any changes.
